Senior Frontend Engineer Shueny Wang AI Solutions Builder
Frontend architecture that scales. AI features that ship.
Nine years of React and TypeScript across automotive cybersecurity, B2B SaaS, and e-commerce, including three and a half years at VicOne (Trend Micro) as sole frontend engineer. Since 2025, independent: lead frontend on enterprise platforms, and LLM products shipped end to end — RAG pipelines, agent workflows, and interfaces people trust.

Global Career Discovery — Brand Website
A single-page brand site for career counsellor Angela Baxter: three visual directions explored, one built, payment and booking integrations wired, deployed with CI — zero to live in a week so she could take her first pilot clients immediately.

Pilotfit — AI Job Search Platform
A full-stack AI platform that turns the chaos of job searching into structured strategy, built solo and running with real beta users.
Toxicology Research Platform
A Nuxt 3 analysis platform built for a university toxicology research team: mass-spectrum visualization, molecular similarity search, and reports that export straight out of a live analysis. Scientific tooling has a different bar — a plausible-looking chart is worse than no chart.
Three Things, Done Deeply
Three Things, Done Deeply
Frontend architecture, AI integration, and the engineering practices that keep both maintainable.
Frontend Architecture at Scale
React, Next.js, Vue 3, and Nx monorepos for complex business domains. I design component systems and micro-frontend structures that stay fast and maintainable as teams and codebases grow.
AI Integration That Ships
Beyond API calls: RAG pipelines, prompt orchestration, multimodal parsing, and cost-aware model routing. I have built AI features as the sole engineer, from schema design to production deployment.
Engineering Quality & Mentoring
Automated testing (Cypress, Playwright), code review culture, and legacy refactoring. I raise the baseline so quality does not depend on any single person.
Technologies & Tools
Technologies & Tools
The tools behind the work. Frontend is the core, AI engineering is the edge, and testing is the habit.

Impact Dashboard
Impact Dashboard
Numbers from real production systems at VicOne, Synttro, and Citiesocial, and from client platforms shipped independently since 2025 — not estimates from side projects.
Faster Time-to-Market
Reduced regression testing cycles via Cypress & TestRail integration.
Performance Boost
Improved render speeds and scalability using Next.js & Nx Monorepos.
Conversion Uplift
Optimized e-commerce funnels based on user behavior analytics.
Writing & Notes
Build logs and technical notes — performance work with the numbers attached, case studies from shipped products, and what AI search changes about content.
Content Prioritization for AI Search: What to Double Down On, What to Stop Making
AI can answer the question, but the transaction still happens on your site. A walkthrough of Aleyda Solis’ AI search content prioritization guide — the four page types to raise, the four that now need a judgment call, and a six-criteria scorecard for ranking your topic list.
Designing Daily Tomato Todo: When the Todo List and the Timer Are One Product
A product + front-end case study on Daily Tomato Todo — a Vue 3 + Pinia daily planner with a full-screen Pomodoro. Why planning by day and focusing on one task should be the same motion, and how four design decisions carry the whole app.
Designing Lucky Duck: A Rewards Platform MVP as a Growth Function
A product + front-end case study on Lucky Duck — a consumer rewards platform MVP concept. How I structured the experience around growth loops, built a token-based design system for light & dark, and shipped a fully clickable prototype on the same stack the product would launch on.
Never two careers. One education.
Never two careers. One education.
My degree is in Computer Simulation and Design, where programming, 3D graphics, and visual design were a single curriculum. My Master's thesis was a 3D virtual museum guide built in Unity, then validated with quantitative usability research. Design and engineering have been one job for me ever since — which is why I own the architecture and the interface decisions together, rather than waiting for a finished spec to arrive.
In practice that means starting where the problem is still ambiguous: running discovery with domain experts, shaping the data model, then building the backend, the frontend, and the AI layer on top. LLM features especially live or die on interface decisions — how uncertainty is shown, when to ask for confirmation, where automation should stop and a human should decide. Those are design problems and engineering problems at the same time, and I have always worked on both sides of that line.
